The organization’s mission is to contribute to the strengthening and development of economic, scientific, technical, cultural and other relations by communications, radio and television broadcasting via satellites and to ensure cooperation and coordination of the efforts of the members of the organization in the design, establishment, operation and development of the Intersputnik international satellite telecommunications system. Intersputnik’s unique status allows the organization doing business based on international cooperation.

    The organization has access to the resources of most satellite operators across the world and major satellite communications systems, including ABS, Azerspace, Belintersat, Eutelsat, Intelsat, SES, Turkmen Hemrasy, Express, and Yamal. Intersputnik provides the users located on all continents with the capacity of geostationary and non-geostationary satellites and the whole range of up-to-date satellite telecommunications and broadcasting services including the deployment of corporate and civil government satellite networks, cellular backhaul, broadband Internet access, communications on the move, as well as TV distribution networks in any geographic location. Through its subsidiary Isatel, Intersputnik offers turn-key, end-to-end and managed services encompassing deployment and operation of satellite communications networks, including ground infrastructure.

    Owing to its status of an intergovernmental organization, Intersputnik files to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) frequency assignments to satellite networks on various orbits in order to implement projects aimed at establishing satellite communications systems in cooperation with the member countries and signatories of the organization and other partners.

    The National Association of Broadcasters (NAT) is Russia's largest professional non-profit association of broadcasting companies. The organization was established on August 31, 1995. NAT consists of more than 600 federal and commercial companies, organizations and institutions.
    NAT defends the rights and interests of broadcasting companies at the federal and regional levels by participating in the development of legislative bases for mass media and mass communications, programs for the development of digital TV technologies, and the improvement of licensing procedures for broadcasting.

    JSC Kaliningrad Amber Combine is the only company in Russia that conducts industrial amber mining and the largest in the world. In 2013, the company came under the control of State Corporation Rostec by order of the president of the Russian Federation.

    Kaliningrad Amber Combine is a full cycle company. It is the flagship of Russia's amber industry. The combine is integrated into the international amber and amber product manufacturing and turnaround. The company accounts for 65% of the global amber market.

    The Kaliningrad Amber Combine is located in the settlement of Yantarny in Kaliningrad Oblast, where 90% of the global reserve of amber is concentrated.

    The amber mined is more than 50m years old. Mining is conducted in an open pit mine in Primorsky Quarry, the largest amber Quarry in the world. Every year, the amber combine mines an average of 450 tonnes of raw amber. As one of the largest regional taxpayers, the Kaliningrad Amber Combine makes a substantial contribution to the sustainable development of Kaliningrad Oblast.

    The Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network” (RTRN) is a world’s largest broadcasting network. RTRN was created on August 13, 2001, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation.

    RTRN provides terrestrial transmission of must-carry public television channels and radio stations broadcasting over the territory of the Russian Federation. RTRN also serves other radio and television channels of both all-Russian and regional types distributing the programs of the latter.
